Porcelain veneers are thin shells of tooth colored porcelain that can be chemically bonded to the tooth to hide any aesthetic issues such as cracked, broken, chipped, discolored, or slightly misaligned teeth. They are more conservative than crowns and can be used on strong and healthy teeth to improve their appearance.
Two appointments will be necessary to prepare the teeth and fit the veneers. It is possible to get a range of colors and shapes with veneers, so please be clear with your dentist about exactly what you are expecting and let us know at each step if you are completely satisfied with the veneers so that we can work with you to help you achieve the smile you desire. If you are unhappy with the color or shape of the veneer that is made in the lab, please discuss your concerns with our friendly dentists as soon as you see it and before they cement it onto your teeth – once the veneer is cemented onto the tooth, it is difficult to adjust the color and shape.
